JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:
The Account Sales Manager will produce proactive action plans that increase brand awareness of company products in the retail markets. Responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external Residential Warranty Services, Inc. clients and customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and services, as well as, the team members within the Warranty Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Solicit potential real estate agents as clients to market our one (1) year home warranties to their homeowner clients.
  2. Develop plans to acquire new realtor clients, through direct sales techniques and business-to-business marketing visits.
  3. Input clientele information into BAM Dashboard which is the Company's internal data base system on a daily basis.
  4. Recommend our home warranties and marketing tools, based on the realtors and their client's needs, to help build their business.
  5. Explain the use and benefit of home warranties and advantages of using RWS home warranties.
  6. Answer clients' questions.
  7. Provide updated marketing materials and products to new and existing clients.
  8. Monitor customer or clientele preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
  9. Attend and participate in local real estate functions (i.e., conferences, tradeshows, etc.).

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is an independent contractor (self-employed) position. Days and hours of work and time frame TBD.

Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

  4. Possess a thorough understanding of all applicable products.
  5. Possess a willingness to learn.
  6. Ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
  7. Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

Required Education and Work Experience:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Business, Sales and Marketing, or related discipline.
  2. Experience in Sales, the Real Estate, the Mortgage Industry, Title Companies, or Home Warranties.
  3. Any similar combination of education and experience.
